Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Monly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this platform.
Use License
Permission is granted to use Monly for personal, non-commercial purposes to support campaigns and manage fundraising activities. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title.
Under this license, you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer any software on the platform
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notations
- Transfer the materials to another person or entity
User Accounts
Registration
To use certain features of Monly, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Campaign Guidelines
For Fund Managers
As a fund manager creating campaigns, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information about campaigns and beneficiaries
- Use funds only for the stated purpose of the campaign
- Provide regular updates to supporters
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not create campaigns for illegal activities or purposes
For Supporters
As a supporter making pledges, you agree to:
- Provide valid payment information
- Honor your monthly pledge commitments
- Understand that pledges are recurring monthly payments
- Use the platform in good faith
Payments and Fees
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a pledge, you authorize Monly to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel your pledge.
You may cancel your monthly pledge at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use Monly to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law
- Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Submit false or misleading information
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Spam or send unsolicited messages
- Engage in any automated use of the system
- Interfere with the security features of the platform
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on Monly. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with operating the platform.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
Disclaimer
Monly is provided "as is" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or legality of campaigns created by fund managers. Supporters make pledges at their own risk and should exercise due diligence.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Monly or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use the platform.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Monly operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
